We’ve asked this week’s curators, John and Sherry Petersik of Young House Love, to share with us their thoughts and inspiration behind their Curator’s Collection event. Here’s what they had to say:
This is that time of year where we can’t help but embrace color as it pops up all around us in the form of red tulips, yellow daffodils, and bright green new grass. Splashes of color are such a quick way to add cheer and freshness to any space, even with just a few accessories. So we wanted to use this collection to highlight all the bright and happy tones that we’ve been digging. Because adding color to your home doesn’t have to mean Technicolor walls – it can be as simple as livening up a corner with a bold accent pillow or bringing in a colorful lamp base or a boldly-toned work of art. Who says Mother Nature gets to have all the fun?
